Saanichton
At the southern tip of Vancouver Island, on the Saanich Peninsula, between Victoria and Swartz Bay lies the village of Saanichton. Considered part of Greater Victoria, Saanichton offers a peaceful setting where urban and rural meet in colorful gardens, modern amenities and surrounding agricultural lands. Ocean beaches are closeby.

Swartz Bay is the BC Ferries Terminal that connect Vancouver Island and Tswassen on the mainland. It is also the terminal for the ferries to the neighbouring Gulf Islands. Plan a day of island-hopping - the Gulf Islands are not to be missed. Pastoral in natural they are rich in West Coast ambience and home to a large and vibrant arts community. Secluded harbours, sandy beaches, rugged cliffs, oceanfront parks and quaint communities are all to be found.
Access: Saanichton is located 20 km from Victoria, about 10 minutes from the BC Ferries Terminal at Swartz Bay and only 5 from the Victoria Airport.
