Crooked River Provincial Park The beautiful Crooked River Provincial Park is located north of Prince George, British Columbia, in the Fraser River Basin.

There are many popular beaches within Crooked River Provincial Park that were created thousands of years ago when the weight of the tremendous glaciers moving through the area ground the rocks and boulders into sand. The lakes in the area are a result of the melting of these glaciers.

The forest cover consists mainly of lodgepole pine, alder, birch, spruce and aspen, within which live a variety of animal and birdlife.
